The female browline is higher than in the male and it is more curved with its highest point at the beginning of the lateral third of the eyebrow. A browlift can be incorporated into the brow recontouring procedure through the same incision.

There are many variants of brow shape but the one which is commonly described has the parameters illustrated in this diagram with the brow sitting just above the upper rim of the eye socket with its highest point about two thirds along its length in line with the outer edge of the iris. The male browline tends to be slightly lower sitting on the upper rim of the eye socket. And less curved.
